We offer dance classes with international teachers in Helsinki and Vantaa. Our classes take place either in our partner dance studio in Herttoniemi, co-operation schools or youth centres.
We think everyone should have an equal opportunity to go for a dance class and we are on a mission making dance accessible to all. That is why our classes are either completely free of charge or very affordable.

Madance Studio
PARTNER
A dance studio in Herttoniemi specializing in authentic afro styles and focusing on creating a warm and welcoming community. Our "home studio" since the beginning.

Helsinki City
PARTNER
Helsinki City is also in the mission of increasing accessibility of art and culture and providing equal opportunities for all kids and youth to be active. And since our missions are very much alike, we are happy to be in partnership with Helsinki City Youth Activities.
Our Story
Just Dance Helsinki started as collaboration project by Artpreneur Finland Ry and Walter Ry in 2022. Artpreneur Finland wanted to increase employment possibilities of international background dancers living in Finland and Walter Ry was looking for someone to organise dance classes for kids and youth in suburban areas of Helsinki. Perfect match we think.

This collaboration led into founding Just Dance Helsinki Ry in 2023. The purpose of this organisation is to promote equality and increase accessibility among kids and young people in the world of dance. How do we do this? We organise weekly classes that are free of charge for participants and occasional events that are easily accessible to all.

In 2024 Walter Ry suggested a new partnership to start classes also in Vantaa as part of a new project. We said yes and edited our name to Just Dance Finland.
